The ten best countries for tourism

The organization presents Spain as a crossroads of international meetings and sporting events, possessing “the strongest combination of intangible culture and heritage sites in the world”.

At the top of the most visited countries in the world, France comes just behind its Iberian neighbour. It is the most competitive economy in Western Europe and has “one of the best scores in the world for cultural resources, business travel [including hosting business seminars], and for exceptional natural heritage”.

The country relies on its healthy economy, but also on its advanced infrastructure in terms of transport and new technologies. On the other hand, the country is at the bottom of the ranking in terms of price competitiveness. A situation that affects almost all Western countries.
